The aim and desire of Camping Les Chamberts on the banks of the Drôme River is to create a calm and relaxing place in a magnificent landscape. Camping Les Chamberts on the banks of the Drôme is a return to the essentials: nature. You can swim in naturally clear, turquoise water thanks to the white pebbles of the Drôme – it's our natural swimming pool! The upper part of the campsite overlooks the Drôme from above a small cliff, offering an extraordinary view of the Trois Becs (a well-known peak in the Diois mountains). At the foot of this small limestone cliff, the Drôme has naturally carved a hole in the rock over the years, forming a "Gour" (a term sometimes incorrectly applied to a simple, relatively deep, open-air pool that generally retains water during dry periods – Wikipedia), allowing for swimming throughout the day. The lower part of the campsite is shaded, you can camp by the river with direct access to swimming.
