The Green Way: A small section of the EuroVelo 6, along the Canal du Centre, between hills, vineyards, and castles. This stage of the EuroVelo 6, starting in Chalon-sur-Saône, joins the Canal du Centre, which stretches to the Loire River. This stage is particularly peaceful and pleasant, along a canal shared by anglers and boaters. An easy route, exclusively on greenways, except for the section leaving the town of Chalon-sur-Saône. After Santenay, you will follow the Canal du Centre. On either side of the route, you can see the hills and prestigious vineyards of the Côte Chalonnaise, the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Santenay. A cycling route exclusively on greenways.
