La Bonnée d'âne, a charming ecolodge near the Loire

In the Loiret region, 3 km from the listed village of Germigny-des-Prés and the Basilica of Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire, you will be welcomed to a former stable, renovated in 2013, on our family property nestled in the countryside just a few hundred meters from the Loire River. For your comfort and in keeping with the spirit of the place, the buildings have been restored with respect for the environment and local architecture. The decor is very warm and harmoniously blends a natural chic style, achieved through the simplicity of the fabrics and natural materials (linen, raw wood, etc.), with a vintage feel, featuring carefully selected and restored furniture and objects. The rooms, awarded 3 ears of corn (3 épis) and the Ecogîte label by Gîtes de France, are spacious and bright, offering an atmosphere of serenity and charm. The Mahis Room: a 25 m² room that can accommodate up to 3 people. It features a 160x200cm double bed, a 90x200cm single bed, and a separate shower room with toilet. This very bright room is located upstairs with independent access. It benefits from a private chestnut terrace (where breakfast and packed lunches can be served in good weather) and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and sunsets. The "Île aux Canes" room: a 38m² family room that can accommodate up to 4 people, consisting of two adjoining rooms (one room with a 90x190cm pull-out bed offering two single beds, and a second room with a 160x200cm bed, a bathroom, and a separate toilet). This room is located on the ground floor overlooking the courtyard. Adjoining a gîte, the combined rental allows you to get together for a few days with friends or family, for up to 14 people. On the Loire à Vélo cycling route, bicycles and a secure storage area are available. A heated swimming pool and animals (chickens, rabbits, cats, etc.) are also on site. Whether for a weekend getaway, a relaxing break, or sightseeing to discover the charm of the Loire villages and castles (10 minutes from the Château de Sully-sur-Loire), or a business trip (20 minutes from Dampierre-en-Burly), this is the perfect place. More than just a stay, it's a true break, a peaceful escape into nature.
