A bucolic retreat where Nature rhymes with Culture: Everything here is done to preserve nature, from the roof insulation to the renovation of the south facade of this former manor house in the Pays de Bray, following in the footsteps of Emma Bovary, Flaubert, and Maupassant. Christophe's Garden offers untreated fruit, juice, jams, and a multitude of vegetables for breakfast at the vegetarian table d'hôtes. The Pétronille guest room (named after the heroine of Maupassant's "A Day in the Country") is located on the first floor of the west wing and features a king-size bed (180cm wide) or two single beds and a shower room; furnished in a vintage style with lace details, it offers a view of Marie and Christophe's small orchard.
