In the heart of the High Vosges Mountains, this ancient and immense stone building, several centuries old and spanning 260 m², was built on a rocky mountainside overlooking the Thur River and bordering the forest. The house has been renovated and extended with a beautiful 60 m² living room, ideal for conversation, sharing, family celebrations, or small group gatherings. Guests can enjoy the communal dining table (by reservation) and savor local culinary specialties: sauerkraut, valley pie, black pudding, Fleischnakas (Alsatian meatballs), homemade jams, and kougelhopf (Alsatian cake). When the weather is fine, you can enjoy the garden with its terrace and barbecue. The gîte is ideally located in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park, near the Route des Crêtes (Crest Road) and the Route des Vins (Wine Route), making it an ideal base for motorcycle or cycling trips. As a result, plenty of ideas for visits are available to you in summer and winter: tourist sites, Christmas markets, skiing, hiking, paragliding, fishing, pedal boating and treetop adventure park near the lake.
