I am delighted to welcome you to the banks of the Doubs River, in the heart of Franche-Comté, to a charming, characterful house with centuries-old walls, now fully renovated by me and converted into a bed and breakfast. You will experience the gentle pace of life and relaxation in our four south-facing rooms, two of which have a terrace and solarium. You will breathe in the invigorating air (let's not forget that Longevelle-sur-Doubs is located at an altitude of 300 meters) which will give you a healthy glow, and you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Doubs River in every season. Our rooms are rated 3 ears of corn by Gîtes de France and each has high-speed internet access. At the banks of the Doubs, you will savor quality traditional cuisine with specialties from Franche-Comté and Alsace. In the warmer months, you can relax on the terrace, sipping a refreshing drink in a bucolic setting. And when the landscapes are blanketed in snow and our charming village is covered in a beautiful layer of powder, you'll enjoy snuggling up by the fire while I prepare a delicious chicken in Vin Jaune sauce. Activities in the Doubs: Even though my home exudes calm and relaxation, you'll hardly have time to be bored. In the morning, after a good night's sleep and a tasty breakfast, all sorts of activities await you. In the garden, while the children splash in the pool or play outdoor games, the adults can choose a book from the library or perhaps organize a pétanque or table tennis tournament, complete with a celebratory drink in the late afternoon and a trophy for the winner. In the fitness room, in addition to various weight training machines, you'll find a sauna with a walk-in shower, a refrigerator, drinks, a bar area, and all the information you need about the region. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the private riverbanks and fish for their evening meal. For your children's safety, the property is fully fenced. We offer themed stays; in the autumn, we'll be picking mushrooms in our beautiful surrounding forests; for motorcyclists of all nationalities stopping over on the banks of the Doubs, I've created a pleasant route; and for mountain biking and cycle touring enthusiasts, towpaths and trails winding through hills and forests are accessible right from the doorstep. Finally, in December, young and old alike will be dazzled by the multicolored lights of the Montbéliard Christmas market.
