COUNTRY COTTAGE A calm and rejuvenating place, 4 km from the Via Rhôna, 1 km from the Hospital Centre, 2 km from the town centre and shops, but in the heart of the countryside surrounded by eight donkeys, and many other animals! We are located on the border of Savoie and Isère, in Bugey, at the end of the Jura mountains and very close to the Grand Colombier (stage of the Tour de France 2016 and 2017). Within 30 minutes: the Grand Casino and the thermal baths of Aix-les-Bains, the Walibi amusement park, Chambéry, the capital of Savoy... Located 1 hour from Lyon, Geneva, Grenoble, Annecy and the Chartreuse Mountains, you will have the opportunity to practice many sports: Hiking with or without our donkeys, with many paths for all levels; Mountain biking with marked circuits for family outings in complete safety or for the more athletic. Numerous routes (up to 120 km and 2380 m of elevation gain) and mountain passes such as the Col de la Biche, the Dent du Chat and of course the Grand Colombier, stage of the Tour de France 2016 and 2017. We lend you bikes and if you don't want to take advantage of our steep paths, the Via Rhôna is 5 minutes away. A paradise for cyclists! Fishing in the lakes and rivers, which are numerous in the Bugey region (a permit is required for the day or the week). GOOD DEALS: If you tell us the day before, every day you can go hiking with one of our donkeys to discover our wonderful countryside and our nearby river (1st and 2nd category river). Outside: separate entrance, terrace and private parking, landscaped garden with 2 garden lounges, ping pong table, deckchairs, barbecue. A large, wooded enclosure where our donkeys sometimes graze! Enclosed grounds for children's safety. Spa for 6 people in July and August. Interior: Capacity for 4 people and a baby. Kitchen: gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, vacuum cleaner, coffee maker, kettle, iron and ironing board, toaster, washing machine and dishwasher, fondue, raclette, and crepe makers...
