19th-century Bigorre house in Argelès-Gazost

Our holiday cottage (2-star rating – November 2012) is a traditional townhouse in the heart of Argelès-Gazost, just steps from all the shops. Spacious (89m²), the house features a large living room with a Bigorre-style fireplace, a veranda, and a 45m² garden. Upstairs, there are adjoining bedrooms (each with an en suite) separated by a small desk. One bedroom has a queen-size bed (160cm) in the room opening onto the balcony, while the other has a double bed (140cm) and a single bed (90cm) in the room facing the street. This 19th-century house retains its old-world charm (beams, woodwork, etc.) while incorporating modern comforts (gas central heating, double glazing on the street-facing windows, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, etc.). It is accessible even without a car (by bus connecting with a train from Lourdes SNCF train station, located 12km away). Free parking is available nearby.
