The "Les Hortensias" gîte (100 m²/4 bedrooms) is located at the far right of the house, which contains three separate accommodations (your gîte, the "Les Agapanthes" gîte in the center, and the owners' residence at the other end). There are no overlooking properties. This accommodation, at the end of a cul-de-sac, is the ideal place to recharge and reconnect with nature. Suitable for families, groups of friends, or business travelers. (Parties and celebrations are not permitted.) Located in the countryside (2,5 km from the town center, less than 5 km from the Garonne Lateral Canal at Pont des Sables), it is surrounded by fields of grain, kiwi, vineyards, and sunflowers. This entire 100 m² accommodation offers all modern comforts, including a 35 m² private terrace where you can enjoy meals and sample the fine wines of the Bordeaux region. A GITE IS NOT A HOTEL; CLEANING IS NOT INCLUDED. You must leave the accommodation in the same condition as you found it upon arrival. (Cleaning service available upon request.) An inventory will be taken upon arrival and departure. (A security deposit will be retained if the accommodation is not cleaned.) Any excessive electricity consumption (over 50 kWh/day) will be charged extra (EDF rate). Meter readings will be taken upon arrival and departure. One dog is allowed (a €100 deposit will be refunded if no damage is found). No cats are allowed. Towels and bed linen are provided FREE OF CHARGE (beds not made). SLEEPING WITHOUT BED LINEN IS PROHIBITED. A security deposit will be retained if you sleep directly on the bedding. We are in the countryside, and it's not impossible that you might find a mouse at your door in the morning (a gift from the cats), along with a few other small field creatures, mosquitoes, lizards, wasps, an owl, frogs, a squirrel… all going about their business. Two very friendly dogs (including a 65 kg mastiff) and two cats live with us. They do not have access to your private outdoor space. There is no air conditioning, but the cottage stays cool thanks to the thick walls. (Fans in each bedroom). Mosquito nets in each bedroom. Only the people included in the reservation are allowed to enter the cottage; no outside guests without prior arrangement. Any breach of these rules will result in cancellation without refund.
