Gîte "Chez Pascalette"

Located 3 km from Argelès-Gazost, in a fully restored former barn, this semi-detached, independent gîte (rated 3 ears of corn by Gîtes de France) is a haven of peace in the heart of the Vallée des Gaves. On the ground floor, it comprises a large open-plan living area (kitchen, dining room, and lounge), a shower room (sink, toilet, and walk-in shower), and a bedroom with a double bed (140x190 cm). Upstairs, there are two bedrooms (each with two single beds (90x190 cm) that can be joined together) and a separate toilet. Ideally situated at the confluence of two high valleys, it allows tourists to easily explore the major sites of the Pyrenees (Lourdes, Cauterets, Gavarnie, and the Pic du Midi). Sports enthusiasts can also enjoy exploring the surrounding area at their leisure. In summer, hiking (three valleys, three distinct routes for all levels, from valley paths to the most prestigious climbs) offers the beauty of the Pyrenees in all its facets. In winter, the proximity of five ski resorts (Cauterets 12km, Hautacam 17km, Val d'Azun 17km, Luz-Ardiden 25km, Barèges-La Mongie 30km) makes it a hub for those looking to enjoy a variety of skiing experiences. For cycling enthusiasts, it's the opportunity to ride in the footsteps of Tour de France heroes (two legendary mountain passes: Tourmalet and Aubisque, three famous finish lines: Cauterets, Luz, and Hautacam), or on the Voie Verte, a magnificent cycle path linking Lourdes to Cauterets.
