In a village surrounded by woods and vineyards, we have renovated the old stable and its adjoining south-facing house. This charming 150m² cottage is spread over two levels, within a former farmhouse dating back to 1770. It can accommodate up to 8 people (6 beds + 1 sofa bed in the living room). The Bordeaux-Sauveterre cycle path is 100m away, Saint-Émilion is 15km away, and Bordeaux is 35km away. Between gastronomy, walks, heritage sites, and of course, the pleasure of wine, there is no shortage of activities. Upon arrival, two shaded parking spaces are available. The cottage is accessible and equipped for people with disabilities (concrete pathways, widened doorways, walk-in shower, etc.). Outside, you have a private, enclosed 400m² garden, a terrace with a barbecue, and a large garden lounge. On the ground floor, the first bedroom, "Marine," features a 140x190cm bed and French doors opening onto the garden. Adjoining this bedroom is a large bathroom with a walk-in shower, double sinks, and a toilet. The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped (oven, microwave, induction hob, washing machine, dishwasher, double sink, and double crockery). The 45m² living room includes a TV lounge area with two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed, and an original stone fireplace. Upstairs, the first bedroom, "Nature," has a 160x200cm bed. Retaining its original features, it retains a stone sink, a fireplace mantel, and a sloping ceiling with exposed beams, offering a step back in time. The second bedroom, "Romantique," also with a sloping ceiling and exposed stonework, contains two 90x190cm beds. Finally, there is a spacious shower room with a 140x80cm shower cubicle, double sinks, and a toilet. A travel cot and all necessary baby equipment, a bicycle storage area, and Wi-Fi access are available. Rates start from €550; weekend and midweek stays are possible outside of peak season.
