In Logrian-Florian (Gard), a charming village in the South of France on the border of Gard and Hérault, located between Nîmes, Montpellier and Alès, we offer you our large and pretty single-storey holiday home, comfortable and perfectly functional. We have furnished it with all the necessary furniture and equipment to make it comfortable.
The entrance gate opens onto the large wooded garden of nearly 3000 m2 protected by cypress hedges, a haven of peace and greenery planted with olive trees, mulberry trees, fruit trees and oleanders. The seasonal vegetation and flowers are a feast for the eyes.
You will find a "zen" space, its small outdoor table and two chairs in the shade of four mulberry-plane trees to offer a welcome corner for rest, tranquility and reading.
You might prefer a game of ping-pong around the outdoor table or the four bicycles available to explore the surrounding area. A baby seat will allow you to travel with a child.
The terrace, approximately 60 m2, overlooks the beautiful garden. Lunch is served in the shade of the blinds, then tea or coffee is served under the pergola. A large-capacity gas barbecue promises happy times.
Around the 4-meter by 8-meter swimming pool, secured by a cover, parasols and deckchairs invite you to relax in the sun.
Inside, three bedrooms with high-quality bedding are arranged on either side of the living room: On one side, a master suite with its private bathroom, on the other, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet. Like the master suite, the romantic room offers a queen-size bed. The blue room is equipped with two single beds. All rooms overlook the garden.
The living room features a large 4K television, a DVD player and a mini stereo system. The dining area includes a table seating six to eight guests. The open kitchen has all the necessary equipment and supplies.
A pantry completes the set with an additional large refrigerator and a freezer.
Within a 50 km radius, the region offers many possibilities and varied nature: The garrigue smells sweetly of thyme, rosemary, and juniper.
The Cévennes National Park offers numerous walks. There are many beaches within an hour's drive between Sète and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, passing through Frontignan, Carnon, La Grande-Motte and Le Grau-du-Roi.
The Petite Camargue sees a succession of marshes, fields and rice paddies, and wild pink flamingos and farm bulls living side by side.
In the cultural and leisure field, the local heritage is rich between Gard and Hérault: Roman sites of Nîmes, Uzès and Pont-du-Gard (between 30 and 40 minutes by car); Anduze, 20 minutes away, with its rich heritage listed as Historical Monuments; five more minutes lead to La Bambouseraie en Cévennes, one of the most beautiful gardens in France; nearby, the Cévennes steam train runs between Anduze and Saint-Jean-du-Gard, in the Gardon valley and its panoramas; Sommières, a medieval town, is 25 minutes away; The Duchy of Uzès is 40 minutes away. Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert (1 hour), on the Way of St. James, is one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France and the Gellone Abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 30 minutes away, the Grotte des Demoiselles offers an unforgettable visit among giant stalagmites and stalactites, calcite flows, large columns and translucent draperies. Also enjoy swimming in the rivers and the Hérault gorges at Laroque (30 min) for a canoe trip between cliffs and rocky peaks.
We live in the Paris region. You will be welcomed by Cécile who lives on site and knows the region well. She will show you the house, how it works, and the nearby amenities. She will advise you on which visits to make. She will remain available for any questions or advice throughout your stay, which we hope will be as pleasant as all the stays we have here.
