A charming cottage, the Gîte des 3 Vaches is a recreation of a 19th-century peasant dwelling, but with all the hidden comforts of the 21st century: step inside and you'll instantly travel back in time! This cottage-museum of bygone days is nestled within an 18th-century Norman longhouse. It is richly decorated with folk art from our local regions, collected here and there. Every object on display has a story, and we're happy to share it with you. The decor revolves around three permanent exhibitions themed around wheat, milk, and apples: Welcome to Normandy! All the cushions, as well as the bedding and curtains, feature brick-red patterns. Particular attention has been paid to the bedding; it is of high quality, in keeping with the grand hotel tradition. Finally, a genuine Norman box bed with curtains awaits your most romantic getaways. For your independence and comfort, the cottage is fully equipped with all the necessary kitchenware, including a beautiful stone sink, a built-in ceramic hob, a refrigerator, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, and more. You'll find a bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower. The large Norman fireplace is ready for your barbecues and roasted potatoes. From your enclosed bed, you have a view of the fireplace, and its warmth and cozy atmosphere will enhance your evenings. Of course, the cottage is heated and insulated. Finally, outside, garden furniture, a barbecue, and a gazebo await you in the shade of the apple and quince trees. On-site: large indoor swimming pool (15m x 6m) heated to 26°C from April to the end of October, luxurious sheltered jacuzzi with 72 massage jets, ping-pong table, access to the forest (hiking trails), bicycle rental (greenway 900m away), local gourmet grocery store, country breakfasts, meals cooked over a wood fire, authentic Norman cuisine...
