A deviation

Le Détour offers five bedrooms (four with double beds and one with a double and a single bed), each with a private bathroom (toilet, sink, and shower). Twin beds are available upon request. Particular attention has been paid to the design of the rooms to ensure comfort and tranquility. Since 2013, Le Détour has held the "Eco-Gîte" label from France (http://www.ecogite.fr, ref. no. 098011) in Buffard. Pets are welcome with prior notice and only in one ground-floor bedroom. Upon arrival, around 5:00 PM, you can park your cars in a large, enclosed parking area. A welcome drink served in the lounge or garden will allow you to discover your accommodations. Dinner can be served at Le Détour as a set menu, from aperitif to dessert, including coffee and wine, for €25 per adult. For other evenings, you can explore the Auberge de Buffard, located a 5-minute walk away, and discover many other culinary delights in the surrounding villages. After a peaceful night, breakfast will help you start the day in a good mood. Made with local or homemade products, this morning meal will be served on the terrace from 8:30 am. Your planned day can then begin. But if you're looking for ideas for further exploration, I'll be happy to suggest some! Upon your return, refreshments are available at the house bar. Please note that the guesthouse has its own private entrance, and a set of keys allows you to access your rooms at any time. Le Détour is ideally located for numerous walks and visits (the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans 17km away, Arbois and its vineyards 12km away, Salins-les-Bains, its casino and thermal baths 13km away, Besançon and its Vauban citadel 30km away, Ornans – the city of Courbet – and Dole – the city of Pasteur – 40km away, and the Hérisson waterfalls 55km away…). But if you're interested in renting bicycles for a more leisurely day, equipment is available at Le Détour.

Les vélos pourront être rangés dans un local, au sec. Le Détour mettra à disposition un local pour éventuellement sécher les vêtements. Un outillage de bas permettra de corriger un défaut ou régler un petit souci technique. Une documentation relative aux circuits vélo est disponible ai gîte.
