Brand new, it focuses on sustainable development and energy efficiency (solar water heater, rainwater harvesting, pellet stove). Outside, a large terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue will delight both adults and children, who can also enjoy the large grounds (6700 m² within the owner's property). Inside, you'll find a spacious living/dining room with a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, ceramic hob, oven, toaster, food processor, vacuum cleaner, iron, etc.) opening onto a lounge area (sofa bed and flat-screen TV with integrated DVD player). There is one large bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink. Sleeps 4-6 people. The cottage is located in the heart of a small hamlet (Sion) on the outskirts of Mauriac, with all amenities nearby (supermarkets, local shops selling regional products). Of course, in addition to the various hiking opportunities, you can enjoy the Puy Mary and its wide open spaces, not forgetting the nearby medieval village of Salers (one of the most beautiful in France). The Falgoux Valley, the Bort-les-Orgues dam (with its riverboats), Aurillac, and some excellent restaurants will fill your days and evenings. Rates vary depending on the season: from €300 to €500 per week (€750 for the first three weeks of August). Weekend, weekly, and even longer rentals are possible depending on the time of year.
