Gite Le Pressoir - near Mercurey - 5km from the Green Way in Givry

Our cottage is located in a very quiet village, 2km from Mercurey, 12km from Chalon-sur-Saône, and 5km from Givry (via the Green Way). Tranquility is guaranteed, and the small private garden offers a haven of peace. Numerous walks and bike rides (suitable for families or more athletic individuals) are possible directly from the cottage without needing a car. We provide maps and information to help you discover our little corner of Burgundy, a preserved and easily accessible area. The surrounding hills are classified as Natura 2000 sites, protecting the flora and fauna of the calcareous grasslands. The central location in southern Burgundy makes it easy to explore the area from Beaune to Cluny, and from Autun to Chalon-sur-Saône or Tournus, without having to travel too far. Information on local activities is regularly updated on our website and Google+ page. Linens (sheets, towels, tea towels) are provided and included in our rates, as is heating if needed. Only the tourist tax is extra. The beds are made upon our guests' arrival. ADSL internet access is available. A bottle of wine is offered for any rental of at least one week. See you soon.
