Gemjo Barge, Bed and Breakfast in Castelsarrasin. Gemjo is a 30m long by 5m wide Dutch Clipper barge, moored at the Port Jacques-Yves Cousteau in Castelsarrasin (82100) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department. It has been converted into a home, our warm and welcoming "home away from home." Halfway (by bike) between Agen and Toulouse, the Gemjo Barge offers you a well-deserved break. Castelsarrasin holds its farmers' market every Thursday morning, Saturday, and Sunday. Several restaurants offer a variety of cuisines with traditional or more exotic flavors. You will find us on the Entre-Deux-Mers cycle route and very close to the town of Moissac, with the Saint-Pierre Abbey and its cloister (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) on the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago). A visit to the Pente d'Eau site in Montech or the Firmin Bouisset Museum with its advertising posters (Poulain Chocolate, LU Biscuits) are some good reasons to take a break with us.
