Country house with heated pool: 18 km from La Rochelle, heated pool, games room, playgrounds, and a great place for children of all ages. This fully equipped and wheelchair-accessible cottage offers peace and quiet. It's the perfect place to relax away from villages and noisy roads. This 250-year-old farmhouse is entirely enclosed by hedges and includes a shaded picnic area with hammocks. On the property, children can play safely while adults relax or enjoy the many on-site activities: heated pool (May to September), playgrounds (football, badminton, mini-tennis), ping-pong table, dartboard, billiards, cricket equipment, and pétanque balls, not to mention the children's sand playground equipped with swings, a slide, and more. Younger children can enjoy a sheltered and comfortable play area equipped with numerous toys. Our location makes it an excellent starting point for exploring the region. Museums, monuments, historical sites, as well as beaches and seaside activities are easily accessible from our property. The House: Sleeps 8/9. Direct access from the parking area via the terrace on the side of this large cottage makes it accessible to people with disabilities. A separate entrance on this side of the cottage also allows a group of people to stay together comfortably. Facing the garden, a table and outdoor chairs are set up under the awning that shelters the main terrace. Inside, the spacious living room can comfortably accommodate two families. A large table and comfortable chairs, as well as a sofa, armchairs, a wood-burning stove, a television, a DVD player, and internet access for laptops complete the furnishings of this large room. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, conventional oven, microwave, large refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric coffee maker and kettle, and toaster. The mezzanine above the living room has a double bed and a ceiling fan. A small alcove on the ground floor leads to a bedroom with a double bed, a small bedroom with two bunk beds, and a bathroom with a washing machine. On the other side of the living room is a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette that also includes a refrigerator. All areas of this cottage, except the mezzanine, are designed to be wheelchair accessible, and bathroom fixtures can be installed to accommodate wheelchair users.
