This is one of the most beautiful regions of the Argoat (inland Brittany), near Lake Guerlédan and its beaches, equidistant from the Gulf of Morbihan and the Pink Granite Coast. The cottage is a fully renovated former farmhouse, nestled in lush greenery 500m from the village center of Mûr-de-Bretagne (all shops, restaurants including a gourmet one, post office, banks, doctors, dentists, etc.). This comfortable cottage, rated 3 ears of corn by Gîtes de France, sleeps 4. It has two bedrooms, each with two single beds (90 cm), a living/dining room with a TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, a 4-burner ceramic hob, an oven, an extractor hood, a dishwasher, and a washing machine in the bathroom. The cottage is completely private and offers unobstructed views of the countryside. It features a large, enclosed outdoor area with natural hedges and a gate, including lawns and a paved courtyard. There is parking for several cars and/or a boat. Wi-Fi is available. Bicycle storage is provided. The Green Way (Voie Verte) for hikers and cyclists is nearby. In the surrounding area, you can enjoy a wide range of sporting activities and sightseeing opportunities. All water sports on the lake: swimming, sailing, kayaking, water skiing, fishing, etc., as well as hiking in the countryside or forest, mushroom picking in the Quénécan Forest, and exploring the region by bike on dedicated paths and along the Nantes-Brest Canal. The site is located along the greenway (a 111 km hiking trail between Carhaix and St. Meen le Grand). Visit Bon Repos Abbey, other heritage sites, the Quénécan Forest, the Daoulas Gorge and the Poulancre Canal (Nantes-Brest), the Liscuis heath, chapels, fountains, wash houses, and more. Numerous activities are organized in July and August to help you discover our beautiful region. All shops, banks, post office, doctors, dentists, physiotherapists, etc., are nearby.
