Formerly run by my grandfather, known as "Le Merle," for the horses used to tow the barges, this family home is located 100 meters from the Canal de l'Entre Deux Mers (opposite lock 49) and its cycle path, the Voie Verte. This charming and peaceful house is a lovely place to stay and stroll through its flowery and shaded grounds. A warm welcome awaits you, and breakfast is excellent; the brioches are homemade, as are the delicious jams, custards, and tarts. Ground floor rooms are available (twin beds or a queen-size bed), or a spacious first-floor room with a queen-size bed in excellent condition and the option of an additional single bed.
