Just 1 hour 30 minutes from Toulouse (Mirepoix-Lavelanet road) and 1 hour from Carcassonne, come and discover our small, family-run campsite nestled in a verdant setting. The campsite overlooks (100m) the 600-hectare Lake Montbel, offering supervised swimming, fishing, pedal boats, and sailing (10km). You will enjoy a spacious, shaded pitch (between 100 and 150 m²) with a view of Lake Montbel. Your horses will be welcome in a designated paddock, and a shelter will be available for your saddles and riding helmets. Peaceful and rejuvenating, you can leisurely enjoy the supervised beach during the summer months or organize numerous outings. Experience preserved authenticity in the heart of a rich historical heritage: Cathar castles (Montségur 25km); Paleolithic caves (1 hour); The intermittent fountain of Fontestorbes (20km), the Roquefort waterfalls (15km), hiking trails, the city of Carcassonne (1 hour)... With its feet in the lake, the "L'écume des Jours" snack bar, just 100m from the campsite, is there to help you enjoy the balmy summer days with ice cream, waffles, and fast food (pizza and mixed platters). Note that the meat served comes from local producers. It also offers small open-air concerts. You can also enjoy crêpes and other fast food at the "Crêperie du Lac," 300m away, next to an inflatable play park.
