La Retirade, an eco-responsible stopover gîte.

La Retirade is a gîte (hostel/refuge) that has been welcoming cyclists, hikers, horseback riders, and more for 20 years! The gîte underwent a beautiful renovation and expansion in 2025. We have a lovely, brand-new, secure bike storage area equipped with electrical outlets. Bikes can be washed with a hose in the courtyard, and there are basic repair tools and a kitchen/laundry room with free access. Meals (organic and local), breakfast (for athletes!), and packed lunches are available. Don't hesitate to contact us. We look forward to welcoming you! Bonjour ami.e.s cyclotouristes ! La Retirade saura être une halte ressourçante sur votre itinéraire. Nous savons nous adapter à vos besoins, vous pourrez loger en dortoir ou en chambre individuelle/double/twin. Faire vos repas vous même dans notre cuisine en gestion libre ou bien profiter de manger à notre table gourmande. Nous nous tenons à votre disposition, n'hésitez pas à nous contacter. Au plaisir !
