Domaine de Bellevue Cottage: Les Crèches cottage

Just a stone's throw from Bergerac, in the village of Lembras, in the heart of the Périgord Pourpre region, Domaine de Bellevue Cottage is a former 16th-century hunting lodge. Surrounded by a 3-hectare park, our guest house offers three self-catering cottages on the garden level, accommodating 2 to 6 guests. For your family holiday or a getaway with friends, we offer a cottage for 4 guests, Les Crèches, converted from the former stables. In fine weather, you can enjoy the terrace, accessible from the bedrooms or the living room: barbecue, meals to the sound of birdsong, or a nap on a sun lounger. From the terrace, step into the living room, which features a fully equipped open-plan kitchen and a dining area (table and chairs). The living room leads to a double bedroom with a queen-size bed and a second double bedroom with two single beds, a shower room, and a separate toilet. For your comfort, upon arrival, the beds will be made and a welcome tray will be provided. From here, set off to explore the Dordogne. The town of Bergerac, famous for Cyrano de Bergerac, is just 5 minutes away and offers all amenities. It's a place full of surprises. From the Cloister of the Recollects to the remarkable canal on the Dordogne River, every stone here has a story to tell. On the left bank, opposite Bergerac, stands the Château de Monbazillac, offering breathtaking views of the town. A short walk away, younger visitors will find plenty to enjoy at the Château de Bridoire. Then, let yourself be guided along the Bastide Route: Eymet, Monpazier, Beaumont-du-Périgord, and Issigeac will delight you. Sports enthusiasts can divide their time between horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, golf, and canoeing on the Dordogne or Vézère rivers. As for wine lovers, they will discover Monbazillac or the red gems of Pécharmant along the wine route. See you soon in the Dordogne!
