The Heights of Chaumont

Come and relax in the Loire Valley, near the most famous Loire châteaux: Chaumont-sur-Loire, Chenonceau, Chambord, and Cheverny. "Les Hauts de Chaumont," a fully renovated former winemaker's house dating back to 1880, boasts a large, wooded garden and a spacious heated swimming pool. Our 3- and 4-star bed and breakfast rooms and our 4-star self-catering cottage welcome you year-round, allowing you to discover the rich culture of the Loire Valley, its gastronomy, and its bucolic landscapes, all in quality accommodation certified by Gîtes de France. The Hauts de Chaumont swimming pool (10m x 5m), fully fenced, is available to you free of charge, under your own responsibility and subject to the rules posted in the pool house, which will be provided to you upon arrival. Sun loungers are available, and bath towels can be provided upon request. The garden at Les Hauts de Chaumont (3000 m²) features various areas, including a pool house and barbecue, where you can relax, read, or share a drink with family and friends. Free Wi-Fi access is available in the farmhouse and the gîte. A large play structure at the back of the garden, with a slide and several swings, is available for children. The entire property at Les Hauts de Chaumont is fenced and bordered by a thick hedge, ensuring peace and privacy. With a little luck and patience, you might spot the squirrel that lives in the large oak tree, or perhaps the pair of green woodpeckers… Three guest rooms, rated 3 ears of corn by Gîtes de France, are located on the first floor of the farmhouse and each has a private bathroom and toilet. They are comfortable, bright, and situated in a particularly peaceful setting, ideal for relaxation. All the 3-star Gîtes de France rooms were renovated in early 2011 and feature quality bedding and linens, as well as a flat-screen TV. A new 4-star Gîtes de France cottage, "Le Cottage d'Eléonore," offers 100m² of air-conditioned space on two levels, available for rent in sections or as a whole. With a decidedly modern design and tasteful décor using high-quality materials, it can accommodate up to 8 people. The ground floor has been designed to be accessible to people with reduced mobility. This large, bright studio (38m²) includes a living room with a large flat-screen TV and a corner sofa that converts into two single beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large bathroom with a toilet and walk-in shower. Upstairs, two spacious (26m²) and bright 4-star Gîtes de France air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own private entrance at the rear of the building, offer comfort and tranquility. They feature designer bathrooms and toilets, a large 160x200 bed and a sofa bed, and have a large flat screen TV.
