Swimming pool, bicycle storage, workshop, IGN maps... Located between the Cévennes and the Camargue, 15 km from Anduze and Sommières, in the small village of Orthoux, typical of the South of France with its exceptional green setting (vineyards, olive groves, garrigue...), Le Mas du Gentilhomme awaits you for a peaceful holiday. Built on the site of a 14th-century monastery, surrounded by 20 hectares of garrigue, our bed and breakfast has been restored respecting the traditional local architecture. Your stay will be spent under the southern sun, serenaded by the sound of cicadas, exploring a rich and varied natural and cultural heritage, relaxing by the pool, or enjoying a beautiful hike… There are numerous activities: on-site: pétanque, badminton, table tennis, swimming; off-site: hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing in the Vidourle River, swimming in the Vidourle… Jackie and Dominique will give you a warm welcome and help you discover, according to your preferences, all the facets of their beautiful region. They will guide you through the countryside to introduce you to passionate winemakers and to local products with southern flavors.
