It's a former silkworm farm, peacefully proportioned and well-balanced, nestled in a small valley surrounded by woods and vineyards. The house offers breathtaking views of the Cévennes mountains. The paths invite you to explore the surrounding rocks and valleys. Through a long stone archway, where swallows come each year to build their clay nests, the entrance leads to the covered inner courtyard – a pleasant spot to sit in the shade during the hottest hours, or to enjoy the enchanting candlelight atmosphere on evenings during our gourmet stop. From here, you can access the garrigue garden with its fruit trees, waterfall, and natural pools – a dream location for relaxation – as well as the balcony and the older part of the house. The rooftop terrace offers another place to relax, surrounded by a centuries-old wisteria. All our rooms are prepared with love and creativity. We ensure that the careful preparation of the beds, linens, and towels creates an open and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a pleasant stay in the tranquility of this valley and the serenity of our former silkworm farm. We are centrally located near numerous activities and tourist attractions: the bamboo grove and steam train of Anduze, the Cévennes National Park, the Hérault, Ardèche, and Tarn gorges, various caves – Demoiselles, Trabuc, Darguignan, etc. – the Mediterranean Sea and its beaches, the Pont du Gard, Avignon, Montpellier, and Nîmes, and summer festivals of dance, theater, and music. In renovating this old farmhouse dating back to 1481, we have carefully preserved its peaceful character and the essence of country life. Throughout our space, we feature contemporary artworks in rotating exhibitions, and occasionally we host concerts. Our gourmet restaurant offers evening set menus (excluding wine) by reservation only, ranging from €37 to €97 per person. We offer special menus for Valentine's Day, Easter, Pentecost, holidays, and New Year's Eve. We also offer: relaxation stays, romantic gourmet stays, and festive stays. Our promotions include: 3-night stays, 3 nights for the price of 2, stays of 5 nights or more, 20% off room rates including breakfast, and 30% off room rates including breakfast from Sunday to Thursday.
