Flavigny-sur-Ozerain is a medieval village in Burgundy, listed among the most beautiful in France. This town abounds with numerous reminders of its rich historical heritage: a 17th-century abbey church, an aniseed factory known since the 15th century, an 8th-century crypt, and more. You will be pleasantly surprised when you descend to your rooms. They are located in a former 17th-century convent (Le Couvent des Castafours) with a superb view of the Auxois region and the Alésia Valley. Flavigny is close to the MuséoParc Alésia, Semur-en-Auxois (a medieval town), Fontenay Abbey, the Château de Bussy-Rabutin, Époisses, and many other attractions. This village was also the filming location for the famous Oscar-nominated film Chocolat.
