On the border between the Aude and Ariège departments, come and recharge your batteries on a 1,5-hectare estate, surrounded by nature in the heart of Cathar country. Nestled on a hillside, the views of the Pyrenees and the Montagne Noire are breathtaking, offering complete relaxation. The 50 m² accommodation, adjoining our main residence, has its own private entrance. Its charming private stone terrace, surrounded by greenery, provides an intimate and bucolic setting. On the ground floor, you'll find the kitchen, dining, and living area. The fully equipped kitchen includes a two-burner ceramic hob, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, and all necessary crockery and utensils. Upstairs, the spacious 20 m² bedroom features a queen-size bed (160x200cm). An en-suite shower room with toilet is also available. Towels and bed linen are provided. End-of-stay cleaning is optional (not included in the rental price) and costs €30, payable on arrival if you choose this option. Tourist tax is extra and must be paid on the day of your departure. Upon request, a meal can be delivered to your cottage (reservations required 48 hours in advance). Breakfast can also be left outside your cottage upon waking if you wish (reservations required the day before). A shared outdoor area is reserved for your use (table, chairs, sun loungers, hammocks). A shared saltwater swimming pool is open throughout the summer season. A laundry room and a barbecue are available for your use. Pétanque sets are provided for use on the pétanque court located on the property. Numerous hiking trails are available in the surrounding area. The greenway is easily accessible by bicycle or on foot. Distances: Mirepoix is ​​a 10-minute drive away / Chalabre and Lake Montbel are 30 minutes away / Carcassonne is 30 minutes away / the Malepère wine route is 15 minutes away / the Cathar castles are 50 minutes away / Narbonne is 1 hour 20 minutes away / Toulouse is 1 hour away.
