Description

The Burgundy Canal is one of the greenways that make up the entire Burgundy Cycling Tour. Located almost entirely within the Côte-d'Or department, it connects to Dijon, the regional capital. Along the way, whether by mountain bike or hybrid bike, following the towpaths alongside the Burgundy Canal, you can discover numerous cultural and natural sites. Among other attractions, you'll find the Grande Forge de Buffon, the fortified town of Montbard, the Gallo-Roman site of Alesia, the 40 locks, the steep-sided Ouche Valley, and the arrival in the heart of Dijon... Prepare to be amazed!
