Green Way from Montauban to St Sulpice la Pointe (V85)

This greenway in the Toulouse hinterland offers beautiful bike rides of around 40 km between the departments of Tarn-et-Garonne and Haute-Garonne, extending to the borders of Tarn. The route follows the vast plain along the Tarn Valley, never far from the river. Starting in Bressols, a few kilometers from Montauban, it passes through several villages: Labastide-Saint-Pierre, Orgueil, Nohic, Villemur, Villematier, La Magedeleine-sur-Tarn, Bessière, Buzet-sur-Tarn, and Saint-Sulpice. From Montauban, this cycle path provides an alternative route to the Grand Route du Canal de la Garonne. Located in the Midi-Pyrénées region, now part of Occitanie, this is a pleasant area to experience the relaxed lifestyle of Southwest France, slow tourism, and cycle touring, whether for a weekend getaway or a longer stay in rural accommodation (bed and breakfasts, gîtes, campsites, etc.) near Toulouse.
