Green Way of the Hérault Valley (Boujan - Bassan - Servian)

The Green Way of the Hérault Valley is an ideal route for families who wish to enjoy a safe and pleasant cycle path. 

Located between Boujan, Bassan and Servian, this greenway offers a varied route through the vineyards of the region. 

To begin your adventure on the Hérault Valley Green Way, consult the regional map to locate the various points of interest along the route. If you plan to spend several days on the greenway, you will find plenty of accommodation options suitable for cyclists. 

Whether you prefer staying in a gîte, hotel, campsite, or bed and breakfast, you're sure to find the perfect option. Some establishments even offer services specifically for cyclists, such as secure bike storage or repair tools should you need them. The Hérault Valley Green Way is particularly well-suited for families. 

The paths are wide and well-maintained, allowing children to ride safely. Furthermore, the varied landscape and surrounding vineyards offer beautiful views throughout the route, making the ride even more enjoyable. Starting in Boujan, you'll cross the Libron River on a restored bridge, offering magnificent views of the water. The greenway then climbs gently through the vineyards, providing a peaceful and relaxing experience. Continuing towards Bassan, you'll discover a recently built greenway with a hard surface and wooden barriers at the entrances. Although this section of the route is already slightly worn, it remains passable and offers lovely views of the surrounding olive groves and vineyards. The Hérault Valley Greenway ends in Servian, where you can explore the 12th-century fortified church and the Cooperative Winery. If you wish to extend your stay, you'll also find many other points of interest nearby, such as the Saint-Adrien Quarry Garden, a beautiful landscaped garden located just 3 km from Servian.
