Description
The Via Venaissia is the newest greenway and cycle path in the Vaucluse department, established in 2014. Currently stretching 7 km between the former train stations of Jonquières and Sarrians, it primarily follows the old railway line that connected Orange to Carpentras. It's a true invitation to explore Provence by bike and offers magnificent views of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountain range and Mont Ventoux. Various types of accommodation (campsites, hotels, gîtes and rentals, bed and breakfasts, unique lodging options, etc.) are available for tourists on weekends, short breaks, and holidays, allowing them to enjoy cycling, rollerblading, or leisurely rides with family and friends on this beautiful greenway.
