
Nestled in the heart of the department ofIndrethe greenway Argenton - Chavin - Cluis offers an ideal natural and heritage-rich interlude for lovers of cycling, in family or between enthusiasts ofsoft roamingBuilt on a former railway line, this cycle path of approximately 20 km follows the route of the Argenton – La Châtre line. It is part of the larger route V94, connecting Bourges to La Rochelle, and represents a key step for soft mobility in the south of Berry.
The journey begins at ArgentonA picturesque town nicknamed the "Venice of Berry," where ancient alleyways, suspended galleries, and old mills tell the story of a town that was once Argentomagus. A break is needed in Saint-Marcelto explore the Gallo-Roman remains, before continuing our journey towards Chavin.
The route, still being developed in places, is perfectly suited to the practice of VAE (electric bike), especially for traversing hilly areas.
