It was in the mid-19th century that the Lalinde Canal was dug to improve navigation on the Dordogne River. Today, this route for exploring the Lalinde region is very popular for walks, bike rides, and fishing. Visitors can follow several interpretive trails at the Tuilières site, the Saint-Capraise aqueduct, or the locks. Notable sights include the port of Couze, the Saint-Capraise-de-Lalinde basin, and the Borie site.
