The journey continues towards Romanswiller, former terminus station of the railway line. Further on, the path gradually resumes on its own right-of-way to reach Marmoutierfamous for its abbey and its Silbermann organs, then Saverne, a jewel at the foot of the Vosges. The town combines ancient remains, a Romanesque cloister, half-timbered houses and castles overlooking the valley.
