Carquefou - St Mars la Jaille - Candé Green Way

This greenway begins in Loire-Atlantique at Carquefou, in the northeastern suburbs of Nantes, and extends to the border of Maine-et-Loire and Anjou at Saint-Mars-la-Jaille. Its major advantage is its accessibility from Nantes via numerous cycle paths and public transport. It offers a good distance for exploring the Nantes countryside. Following a former railway line, its compacted stabilized surface allows for various activities (cycling, hiking, etc.), except rollerblading in most cases. From the Nantes metropolitan area, it is an interesting alternative to the Loire à Vélo or Vélodyssée routes heading north along the banks of the Erdre River. It also provides a potential connection to the greenways of Mayenne and Anjou.
