EuroVelo 6: Canal du Centre Green Route (Chalons-sur-Saône - Santenay)

The greenway follows the banks of the Canal du Centre from Chalons and the Saône plain, reaching the Burgundy vineyards at Santenay before heading south to Saint-Léger-sur-Dheune. The excellent quality of the asphalt surface of this greenway makes it suitable for cycling, rollerblading, and other activities. At Santenay, two-thirds of the way along the route, it's possible to branch off onto another greenway that leads towards Nolay or Beaune through the vineyards. A stopover in accommodation (hotel, bed and breakfast, rental, or campsite) allows for a more in-depth exploration of the landscape and heritage over several days.
