From the very first pedal strokes, the greenway enters the grounds of the Château de la Fresnaye and follows the limestone slopes of the Monts d'Eraines, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding plain. The route is dotted with picnic areas, perfect for a break in the heart of nature.

Heading towards Morteaux-Couliboeuf, the route crosses a typical hedged farmland of the Pays de Falaise region. This village, nestled beside the Caen-Tours railway line, retains a rural and authentic charm. Its old station bears witness to the region's railway past.
