Greenway along the banks of the Dranse d'Abondance

A mountain greenway, a true opportunity for gentle exploration of the Abondance Valley by bike or on foot! Starting in Abondance and passing through La Chapelle d'Abondance and Châtel, this greenway along the banks of the Dranse River follows the entire Abondance Valley to Châtel, and offers a more challenging route towards Pré la Joux. Family outings, at an average altitude of between 1000 and 1200 meters, along the Dranse, allow you to circle Mont de Grange and admire the surrounding peaks (Cornette de Bises, Morclan, Linga, etc.). A rare find in the mountains, this route allows you to combine a leisurely ride on the greenway with a sporty downhill bike ride in the Portes du Soleil. Magnificent!
