Greenway from the Estuary to the Ocean

An exceptional diversity of landscapes and environments, a true microcosm of Southwest France in just 10 km, perfect for cycling, walking, or horseback riding. The route begins at a birdwatching hide in the Gironde estuary, where the Garonne River meets the ocean. It then crosses the dike and marshes just before the village of Talais, and continues through a pine forest before reaching the Atlantic dunes. This greenway is easy to enjoy during a stay in nearby accommodations (hotels, campsites, bed and breakfasts, gîtes, and rentals).
