La Veloccitanie: Haut Languedoc greenway “Passa Pais”

Linking the Hérault and Tarn departments, and the Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrénées regions, the Haut-Languedoc greenway stretches for 76 km along a safe route through the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park. Connecting Bédarieux to Mazamet, it crosses the watershed between Courniou-les-Grottes (Hérault) and Labastide. You can enhance your cycling route with numerous tourist visits: the castle of Marshal Soult-Berg, the frescoes of the church of Lacabarède, the textile museum in Labastide-Rouairoux, the cave of La Devèze and the national speleological museum in Courniou-les-Grottes, the prehistory museum in Saint-Pons-de-Thomières, the village of Olargues, which benefits from the "Most beautiful villages of France" label, the gorges of Héric, and numerous themed trails for interpreting the heritage and landscape.
