The route begins in the heart of the Northern Vosgesin Wingen-sur-Moder, famous for his Lalique Museum, a true showcase of glass art. Further on, the narrow streets of Bouxwiller reveal their half-timbered houses and the hill of Bastberg invites contemplation. To Val de ModerA stop at the Museum of Popular Imagery is a must before heading to Haguenau, the second largest city in the Bas-Rhin department. Here, medieval history and the vast forest, one of the largest in Alsace, create a fascinating setting. Finally, the route joins drusenheimwhere the Moder flows into the Rhine and where the greenway connects to the prestigious EuroVelo 15 – Rhine Cycle Routeopening the road to Strasbourg, Basel or even the Netherlands.

What makes this cycle route so special is the diversity of its landscapes: clearings, valleys, picturesque villages, and vast forests alternate to offer a journey full of contrasts. Furthermore, several local connections allow you to join other cycle routes, towards the Sauer valley or Lembach valley.
