
Green Way 7 of Brittany by Bike is an exceptional route linking Roscoff to Concarneau over approximately 150 km. This route crosses Finistère from north to south and offers an immersive experience in the heart of diverse Breton landscapes. Ideal for a family getaway, this safe cycle path partly follows the route of theEuroVelo 1 - Velodyssey up to Port of Carhaix before branching off towards the Black Mountains and to reach Concarneau.
From RoscoffA charming port city, the route runs along the bay and offers magnificent views. By consulting the greenway map, you can anticipate the major points of interest along the way. Morlaix, with its half-timbered houses and impressive viaduct, makes a good first stop. Further on, the Arrée Mountains offer an immersion in wild landscapes between moors and forests, particularly around Huelgoat.
After Port de Carhaix, the route leaves the Vélodyssée to head into the center of Brittany. Guiscriff is a particularly interesting stop with its old station converted into a railway museum. GourinKnown for its crêpe festival in July, it's another gourmet and convivial stop. Further south, Scaer, a green resort, offers numerous nature trails.
The arrival at Concarneau, the walled town, a fortified city famous for its Walled City and its beaches, constitutes a grand finale.
