The Vélodyssée: Green Route Léon - Vieux Boucau (EuroVelo 1)

The Léon to Vieux-Boucau Green Way, part of EuroVelo 1, is an enchanting 13.6 km route that immerses you in the heart of the picturesque Landes landscapes. This perfectly maintained and safe path winds through maritime pine forests, wild dunes, and shimmering lakes. 

Starting from Léon, you'll be guided to Moliets-et-Maa, where the Saint-Laurent chapel, a Templar relic, awaits you for a touch of history. At Messanges, a secondary track leads you to the beach in 4 km. The route continues to Vieux-Boucau, a lively seaside resort situated around a large freshwater lake.
