On almost 45.00 km, the The Vélodyssée Green Route across Les Sables-d'Olonne and La Tranche-sur-Mer embarks you on a journey spectacular cycling, between Atlantic Ocean, wild beaches, rocky coves et pine forestsAccessible to all, this stage alternates quiet little roads et secure greenways, ideal for a cycling getaway with family or friends, under the sign of relaxation, nature and discovery.

The journey begins in the heart of Sables d'Olonne, an iconic city in the Vendée region and the famous starting point of the Vendée Globe. From the very first pedal strokes, the tone is set: iodine-rich air, maritime atmosphere and artistic wealthA stop is a must in the unusual district of Penotte Islanddecorated with magnificent seashell frescoes created by the artist Dan' since 1997.
