Adour Maritime Green Way (Urt to Bayonne)

This greenway runs along the banks of the Adour River from Tarnos to Urt, near Bayonne. It forms part of EuroVelo 3 – the Scandibérique – and connects to the Vélodyssée cycle route and the Atlantic coast. Continuity is ensured by a cycle route towards Dax. Here, the Adour is a maritime river, heavily influenced by the tides that shape the changing landscape. The quality, width, and surface of this cycle path allow for multiple uses (jogging, walking, cycling, rollerblading, etc.). Whether for a longer journey or a day trip, the greenway reveals a typical and bucolic landscape.
