Canal de Berry by Bike: Montluçon - Vallon en Sully Green Route

In the Allier department, the Berry Canal greenway starts in Montluçon and heads north to Vallon-en-Sully, primarily using the towpath alongside the canal. This recently developed greenway, stretching for approximately 20 km, welcomes all types of users (cyclists, rollerbladers, mountain bikers, pedestrians, etc.). It offers a peaceful way to discover the unspoiled environment surrounding the canal and the Cher River, which flows alongside it, as well as a wealth of heritage sites (locks, canal bridges, castles, etc.) as you pass through the villages.
