Green Way the path of the fountains (Castres to Burlats)

In Occitanie and Midi-Pyrénées, the Voie Verte du Chemin des Fontaines (Greenway of the Fountains Path) begins in the suburbs of Castres. It follows the route of an underground aqueduct before descending into the forest along the banks of the Agout River to Burlats and its medieval village. It's possible to continue along a quiet road to Rochecourbe (an additional 8 km) and thus complete the Agout Gorge route. Perfect for families or groups of friends, on foot or by bike, for a day trip, a weekend getaway, or a longer stay in the Tarn region.
