Traveling across the north of Loire-Atlantique for nearly 43 kilometers, the cycle route of The Regalante, between Chateaubriant et The Meilleraye-de-BretagneThis is an invitation to discover a region deeply rooted in history, culture, and bucolic landscapes. It is an integral part of the cycle route. V409, which connects Mont-Saint-Michel to Nantes, this section combines peaceful greenways and small shared roads with low traffic, for a gentle and accessible getaway for all.

The journey begins at Chateaubriant, a city marked both by its medieval past and by its role in the Resistance during the Second World War. From the very first pedal strokes, history buffs can visit the Château de Châteaubriant, witness to the ancient Marches of Brittany, as well as the career of the executedan emblematic place of remembrance immortalized by the poet René Guy CadouFor a cultural interlude, the Micro-Folie Digital Museum offers an interactive exploration of great works of art from around the world.
