La Régalante: Fougères - Vitré Green Route (V409)

The greenway follows the right-of-way of a former railway line. It provides a continuous route towards Vitré, in the heart of the Ille-et-Vilaine countryside. It crosses several bodies of water along the way and connects two medieval towns in Brittany, Vitré and Fougères, each with a prestigious history and a castle overlooking the town. This greenway is one of the links in the Mont Saint-Michel to Nantes greenway (V9 Brittany) and offers a pleasant and refreshing route, perfect for a longer stay, a longer trip, or a day out, with family and friends.
